      <image:caption>I believe rest is medicine for the modern world — a way to return home to ourselves. My path in health and well-being began in 1996 with Human Services Victoria, where I supported young people navigating complex and tender chapters of their lives. That experience opened my heart to the power of compassion and unconditional care for all beings. After becoming a mother, I worked as a counsellor with PANDA (Post and Ante Natal Depression Association), holding space for parents through the often unseen transitions of early parenthood. In 2017, I joined Monash University’s Department of General Practice as part of the Health Enhancement Program and later served on the council of the Meditation Association of Australia from 2019 to 2023. Today, my work weaves together decades of experience in care and contemplation. I am a guide and mentor through Yoga Nidra and rest-based practices, and supporting others as a facilitator and teacher trainer. Through my sleep-based Yoga Nidra meditations on Insight Timer, I have supported tens of thousands of people worldwide in resting more deeply and reconnecting with the body’s natural rhythms. My love for yoga and meditation began in the early 1990s and deepened through my studies in Psychotherapy in 2006. Over time, these practices have become the steady ground beneath me — a way to return home to calm, clarity, and compassion. Through rest, stillness, and presence, I’ve come to trust in what is unchanging within us all ~ a quiet, luminous place that reminds us who we truly are.</image:caption>
